Description:
Advanced topics in signal transduction and biochemical regulation. Some topics covered include the following: protein kinases and protein phosphorylation; phosphatases and their role in regulation; function of phosphorylation events in regulation of metabolism and growth; calcium and other ion channels as signal transduction mechanisms, steriod hormones receptor super family; immune system signal transduction events.
