Prerequisite(s):
An internship to provide students with on-the-job biochemical experience in government, industrial or clinical laboratories. Each individual project must be approved by the Biochemistry Department and the laboratory director where the internship is to be carried out. A written report is required. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). May be repeated for a total of 12 units. Only 9 units total of courses numbered 190 through 198 may be counted toward the 180 unit graduation requirement.
